Stablish, Strengthen, and Settle You (pastel) by Polly Castor

The title of this conceptual painting, Stablish, Stengthen, Settle You is a quote from a snippet I like from the King James version of the Bible in I Peter 5:10. Don’t we all want that?

It is 19″x25″ and done in pastel. See the entire, textural and patterned work above, and you can also examine close-up images of it below.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves. Um…. depicts a … bunch of …. body parts … wombs and fetuses, or Easter eggs and Baskets and such… to me…. but this is just
one interpretation, and I spose reveals where my thot may be…dunno… my daily aim is to “forget the body in remembering good and the human race.” (Mary Baker Eddy, I believe)

Beyond this honesty, I do like the juxtaposition of colors and shapes, and that it Made Me Think, which is what Good Art does, huh!

Thanks for sharing, as usual. You Amaze me.
