I recently bought this children’s book, How to Write a Poem, for someone on my gift list, and was so excited by it, I thought you needed to know about it as well, for the young people in your life.

It combines some of my favorite things– poetry and collage– in a frolicking, appealing way.  It encourages the reader to have fun with words, and opens them to consider new ways to express themselves. Creativity should be this joyous, a celebration of play!
