These pages are done in the thick artist journal I bought in London in September, which is made of soft, handmade paper. It is a pleasure to work in this, although the softness of the paper influences the art to a great extent. I’ve been playing with mixed media in here, in a slow, meditative, unfolding way. I can’t encourage you enough to start, or be working, in an artist journal yourself. It is calming and beneficial to your mental health, as well as an outlet for your creativity, and a place to try out ideas.
