Come to a Zoom I’m Giving Today Explaining Abstract Art

Zoom explaining Abstraction

I’m giving a PowerPoint talk this evening, sponsored by the Clinton Art Society, explaining Abstraction. It is titled, Abstraction: Between Impressionism and Non-Objective Art, and I use slides of my own work to introduce the various types of abstraction.

It is being given from 7-8:30pm today, eastern standard time, and if you’d like to attend, register here on their website, and they’ll send you the zoom link, for free.

They say they are recording it as well, and if that recording becomes available after the fact, I will put a link to it here.

If you are part of a group that would also like me to give this popular talk, contact me here, and we’ll set something up, either in person or on zoom. I’m always interested in helping people understand and value abstraction.

And if you were able to hear the talk, let me know in the comments what you got out of it!

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves. Have a super event, Polly – I too will enjoy the replay as the timing is a little late for me …. Always happy to learn more -and brings to mind Mary Baker Eddy’s statement : Thought will finally be understood and seen in all form, substance, and color, but without material accompaniments.
