Hike Photos from Huntington State Park (November 2024)

It was a busy month, but I still went on some regular walks in my nearby Huntington State Park. In November, I was joined on my walks by a house guest who is a fellow blog reader of yours, as well as both daughters in succession, and my husband, although most days I walk alone.
You can see in these photos what I’ve been noticing: foliage that has lasted later in the season than usual, water reflection never fail to fascinate, as well as light, shadows, texture, and bursts of color. The more intimately I know this place, the more I love it.
I hope you get outside to enjoy some nature, fresh air, landscape, and the changing seasons!
The first ice is starting to timidly appear here, and it is getting dark in the afternoon now.
