This painting is the third in my yearly series chronicling Global Warming. See 2021 painting here as it is prickly and worrying, and 2022 painting here when is was encroaching and steeped in a general malaise. This year, more concern is felt because climate change has been resulting in devastating fires and seasons of pervasively poor air quality; it is starting to effect us where we live.
The resulting painting depicting this is titled Global Warming 2023. It is 18″x24″ and done in pastel. See it in its entirety above and close-up details of it below.

What will next year be like? This year here, we’ll have a warm Christmas week, instead of our iconic snow.
