Global Warming 2022 (pastel) by Polly CastorI painted this last fall, but then unexpectedly went to Guadeloupe, so never got it posted.
Mostly oblivious, the heat continues to descend, the weather gets weirder, and there’s a darkness lurking in consciousness. (For example, January here in Connecticut has had balmy temperatures in the 60’s– definitely not “normal,” or maybe it is the new normal.)
