Flowers in our house

The stark, low evening light illuminating the status (that houseguests brought) and hyacinth on our dining room table (in our handmade vases) is what prompted this post.

For the last month, I’ve been snapping our re-blooming amaryllis and orchids in interesting light. I’m so thankful to be married to a man who nurtures blooming things. Orchids and amaryllis are standard fare for him here in the winter, and are on constant parade. I’m so grateful for this!

As we await spring (our first two crocus have come up… now covered in snow !) it is good to be surrounded by “floral apostles.”

I hope you are encircled by flowers too! If not, treat yourself to some, like those fragrant hyacinths I bought myself. It makes a world of difference.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
