Art Journal Pages

I’ve had an injection of new watercolors, new watercolor markers, and new ink, so these pages are me messing around with those, along with a little collage. In these, I’ve been contemplating my next moves for larger works, but am still casting about.

You can see that the first image shown below was a pre-test for my recent larger work, Viridescence, so often my artist journaling pages segue to larger work.

The more oblong page spreads below are in the new quilted art journal our daughter made and gave me as a Christmas present.

    I love your colour combinations and imaginative shapes. They say “Caribbean” to me, and induce happy feelings of sunshine and carnivals! I love them.
