Last Saturday was colossally busy, but I snuck out anyway to my friend Susan Newbold’s opening for her new one woman show. I’m so glad I did! At the show I got to page through some of her art journals, and I splurged and bought her beautiful new art book. The first photos below are from her show and below that are images from her book.
I know Susan from the overlap of my church and art worlds. Some of you blog readers may know her as well, and might even have taken her popular Illuminated Journalling classes. I particularly love her seascapes and organic shapes.
