We’ve all experienced this. We are buzzing along just fine, and then just before a (metaphoric or literal) fork in the road, we get all confused and flummoxed about which way to go, and nothing seems clear, and we’ve got to decide, but there so much conflicting stuff going on, and… That’s what I painted in this new abstract conceptualist piece called Conundrum.
You can see the entire work above and details of it below. This 12″x16″ piece is available for sale; contact me if interested. If you wish to purchase a print or merchandise with this image you can get it here in my gallery.

Love this, Dear Polly! That’s such an accurate depiction of an isolating emotion. By bringing this shared experience to light in your own unique way, I believe you give new meaning to Mrs. Eddy’s words, “Christian Science never healed a patient without proving with mathematical certainty that error, once found out, is two-thirds destroyed and the remaining third kills itself.” An accurate artistic rendering of a mental state, reveals that state . . . brings it up out of hiding . . . into the light where it has a much better chance of vanishing — like “dew before the morning sunshine.”
