Starlit Lagoon (Pastel) by Polly Castor

This painting of starlight reflected in the lagoon took longer to make than I thought it would, but it came out the way I hoped. Painting it was a multistep process, so was a bit of a leap of faith, that I had to be patient to see through on a surface this large. It is a bit of a departure from my other work, so I’m curious what you think.

This painting, Starlit Lagoon is 24″ x 24″ and is done in pastel. See the entire work above and details of it below. It is for sale; contact me if interested. Also prints and merchandise with it are available here in my gallery.
