[/spb_text_block] [spb_text_block pb_margin_bottom=”no” pb_border_bottom=”no” width=”2/3″]The paint above was done from Chaffinch Island in Guilford, Connecticut. I was attracted the the intensely vibrant greens in the marsh grasses there. The painting below was done on Long Island Sound at the Mercy Center, where we were surrounded by egrets. I shared my photos of the birds here on a previous post. I rarely paint birds in my paintings but this one posed there so long, it was like he was insisting on being included.
