Book Review Humans of New York

I have admired the photography of Brandon Stanton for a long time, but have never seen this book until now. The famed author of the Humans of New York blog and Facebook page (of almost 18 million followers), Brandon has a love for people and their stories. He also has a great eye for creating compelling images.

In this book, the variety of people is fascinating, as are the colors, comments, and costumes. This is a perfect book to check out during some summer leisure; I highly recommend it and give it five stars.

Apparently there is a newer book out that focuses more on people’s stories. It hasn’t made it to my library yet, but I’m looking forward to reading it.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
