Rocks Northern Shore of Lake Superior

We had fun playing with the rocks along the northern shore of Lake Superior. The colors of the rocks are very different when wet, vivid in (or just plucked out) of the exceptionably clear, cold water. The first picture below was taken through about a foot and a half of water. I enjoyed the patterns in the lichen as well.
