One of my first impressions of Sacramento upon arriving was seeing these vivid crepe myrtles blooming everywhere. They are wonderful and their deep rich colors are complimented by the clear skies. These trees, with their twisted trunks, seemed very content in drought conditions. I loved them and don’t remember ever seeing them before.
