Sandy Hook a Year Later

Tomorrow is the one year anniversary of the horrible incident that occurred locally at the Sandy Hook Elementary school.  You can read last year’s initial blog about it as well as others on this blog here and here and here and here and here and here.  Needless to say, it was totally heartbreaking.

Tomorrow I will post an article I’ve written about how we are doing now as a community.  One friend summed it up by saying we have expressed “astonishing grace” in the face of this.  I think that says it well.

Locally, we have worked hard to get the news media to keep a respectful distance tomorrow.  It looks like the weather will help by dumping snow that will further discourage a media circus.
