View from Glacier Point in Yosemite

Happy Fourth of July!

What could be more patriotic than the view from Glacier Point of Yosemite?

We enjoyed its many changing moods… and yes, those are rain clouds in California. We had a lightning show but did not get wet. We walked back by the light of a full moon.

Breathtaking! What stunning waterfalls! What color. It seems you should have photographed it over several days to catch all you did. And your model is lovely! Especially love the one where she is perched on the precipice – suspended in front of Half Dome. Spectacular! Frame worthy – well all of them!
    Thanks for sharing!

Wow! Absolutely gorgeous photos. So glad you are sharing your travels with us. I have never been to Yosemite and I am enjoying seeing it through your “National Geographic worthy” photos.

Catching up on several days of your journey! Stunning! As wonderful as the national parks series on PBS made me want to witness our nation’s splendor, so do your photos. Wonderful to have a pal to share all with too. I understand about seeing the awesomeness in person is so different from even the best photo! Even so, thank you for documenting the graceful beauty, power, and peace of this land! When do we get to see some of the resulting art inspired by such vistas? Looking forward to that!! No pressure…. :-)

Pictures of the Half Dome at the sunset are amazing!
I never thought that pictures can turn out even better than the actual view.

Well, the actual view was like that if you wait for the right moment! The sunset light was amazing!
