Last week, while driving back from Florida, we learned that my husband’s Uncle Harvey had passed on. So even though it wasn’t in the budget, we made last minute reservations to leave immediately for Texas. We got in to Connecticut late, and after a load of laundry, we left for Texas early the next morning.
It was overwhelmingly wonderful to be there. We stayed with my brother-in-law, who had a full house, which included our oldest daughter who flew in from California for the occasion. It was great to see all of the extended family shown in these photos. They are all very dear. Don’t miss the poem I posted yesterday about Harvey’s legacy of love.
Also the same week, two of the cousins got engaged; you can see them in the last two photographs below.

Thank you for sharing your family with us. Such kindness, sweetness, intelligence shining brightly! It is wonderful to see this family so bright, loving, and poised.

These photos illustrate Genesis 33:10. “I have seen thy face, as though I had seen the face of God, and thou wast pleased with me.”

What a wonderful tribute to your husband’s Uncle Harvey! There is such a sense of Love expressed in all the faces in these beautiful photos! Forgive me for asking, but what type of camera lens did you use? The results are lovely.
