We are glad to be in College Station, Texas with our two daughters to celebrate the marriage of a cousin on my husband’s side of the family. He has a large, delightfully warm family, and it is a pleasure to be with them.

The couple to be married is shown above, and these are the photos I took at their rehearsal dinner. It was a heartfelt occasion with speeches filled with both tears of gratitude as well as laughter. It was special to be with such a earnest and sincere couple who are interested in serving others. We got a glimpse of this groom, who apparently is deeply appreciated by his friends and coworkers, and felt that his sweet devotion to our wonderful cousin made him worthy of her.

It was good to see this extended family together again, some (like us) from many states away, and it promises to be a fun weekend. I will post photos of the wedding tomorrow, and more miscellaneous family pictures from our trip the day after that…
