We have mostly been featuring hearty breakfasts, having made muesli and bird seed bars before we left, and supplementing that with oatmeal, yogurt, cottage cheese, and fresh fruit that is readily available at fruit stands. Laura dehydrated vegetables and ginger before the trip that she has been adding to rice, pasta, or tuna for dinners. For lunch we are mostly eating trail food or eggs. We also regularly have organic peppermint tea. Laura has been doing all the cooking. In this area of usual responsibility I am on vacation! She’s doing a great job on the Coleman stove my sister gave me for my birthday and seems to be enjoying it.
