I am home again to my lush, green Connecticut after the high dessert of Albuquerque!

It was an adventure returning home, which included getting bumped from my plane and receiving a generous $837 travel voucher, as well as having a wonderful four hour conversation with a nun that works with the Navaho.

And I couldn’t be more delighted to see all these blooms in our yard!  (All these photos were taken in our yard except for the rhododendron ones, which were taken at New Pond Farm right before I left.)

Nothing like a little travel to appreciate anew where you live! I am seeing it with fresh eyes, and am so grateful for the remarkable beauty everywhere.
