Here are two larger platters in a day lily theme that have just come out of the kiln. 

You can see a photo of the one above, just after being thrown, in a photo below. At the time, I was excited because it was the largest I had ever thrown, but since then I’ve thrown one much larger! 

I painted both of these platters with underglaze and carved back through the paint to the white clay, in a method called sgraffito, and then glazed them in clear.
