We’ve got a lot of apples around. I’ve been making baked apples, and my husband has made his apple tart with cookie dough crust (see photos below). Our daughter has dried a bunch of enormous Mitsu apples in her food dehydrator.
This weekend we are making his amazing Tart Tatin for friends, and I’ve just made some more of our fabulous Rosemary Garlic Dressing that is really great on salads with apples in them. We’ve recently had the Whole Grain Apple Waffles, and the Raw Slaw. We’re working on perfecting an apple cider (baked) donut recipe with sprouted spelt flour… but, shucks, maybe we should make that again to make sure it was as incredible as we thought? I guess it is time to make more of Our Favorite Green Soup, the Apple Muffins with Oat Bran and Dates, and our favorite Apple Cake too…
