Butterfly Photos from Monhegan

Butterfly photos from Monhegan

Butterflies were everywhere on our recent visit to Monhegan. It was fun to watch them, and I took these reference photos for the painting I was doing there in the gardens (see here). It is amazing to think that these slight, fragile creatures, flew there across the ocean and will fly much further in their migration. No wonder they are fueling up with so much nectar!

  1. As mankind emerges from the long and deep night of confused-beliefs about what Life really IS,
they (we!) will find A Whole New View of themselves and others…about, well, just Everything!
Realizing their basis of reasoning was…”off,” they began to reason rightly…to see and feel and know the Nectar of Life’s pure goodness…unfurling beautiful new wings to greet the divine glory!!
