We had a highly pleasant Easter. Our youngest came home and it is always good to see her. My husband and I conducted the Easter service and afterwards invited some church folks over for Easter brunch, where we made our Multigrain Blueberry Pancakes and scrambled eggs, followed by plenty of chocolate.

Also, admire that gorgeous linen tablecloth my husband made, complete with perfectly mitered corners on every napkin!  That incredible amaryllis (shown below) is blooming late; we planted it to bloom for Valentine’s Day, but it caught up with the resurrection spirit and was magnificent for Easter instead, with eleven blooms at once!

Everyone enjoyed being together so much that we sat around that brunch table for five hours, when it felt only like two.

So grateful.
