Our Daughters Climb to the Top of a Butte

Our Daughters Climb to the Top of a Butte

Our daughters climb a butte.

I’m not sure “butte” is the right name for it but together with their Uncle John, our daughters climbed to the top of the highest point in the formation in the photo above. (Note: there was not a trail.) It was exhilarating for them. They agreed it was one of their “highlights of the year.”

If you look carefully in these photos you can see them as specks in my zoom lens–particularly tiny when they are at the top!

And Laura did this in her brand new cowboy boots–what a way to break them in. The panorama photo was taken with Virginia’s iPhone from the top and is now her cover photo on Facebook.
