I adore board books and enjoy giving them as gifts. We got these as a Christmas present for one of the wee ones you saw with us on the boat last summer.
I have other board book suggestions on the blog: see here and here and here and here. These links from the past are more classic ones, but after looking through zillions before choosing the ones in this post, I’d have to say I am not enamored by most of the new ones. That’s why I thought I’d save you the trouble of wading through all those by recommending these.
These are delightful in every way, with wonderful art and rhyme, as well as peek-a-boo holes to see through onto other pages. They would be a great gift for your little loved one. They offer this next generation a glimpse of an untarnished world, full of wonder and love.

These all look great…I will keep them in mind for future gifts for little ones.

You are so right about newer board books. We had to wade through a lot of disappointing ones when buying a gift for one of Kyra’s friend’s new baby a few months ago. One of my team members has a baby due in February so will keep these in mind!
