Sister Act 1 & 2 (Movie Review)

Sister Act 1 & 2 (Movie Review)

I haven’t reviewed a movie in quite a while, and haven’t even seen many at all this year. Finally I did this weekend, and they were two that many of you probably have already seen, but if not (like me), you might want to!

We found Sister Act, staring Whoopie Goldberg and Maggie Smith, delightful. We watched the first one and the second one back to back on Netflix. I’m a lover of transformation, and that goes on beautifully in both of these. The unexpected and unconventional methods made it even more wonderful. Add in a little fun into a bad situation and it will of necessity improve.

Also, the music is excellent– lively and uplifting. And a bad guy gets his comeuppance as well.

If you are looking for a feel-good comedy, you might enjoy watching this. And let’s all try to infuse some of Sister Act’s infectious spunk into our communities too.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
