Diana Rogers featured artist

I was privileged to see two of Diana Rogers’ shows this past month. Diana is a abstract landscape artist, who lives in Connecticut, and paints in pastel. She is a friend of mine and fellow blog reader of yours.

I met her at a Henry Issacs Workshop back in 2016 in Maine, the first of many workshops we’ve done together (like here and here), and we’ve plein air painted together in Connecticut (see here). Next on our agenda together is she’s coming with us to Monhegan Island to paint this fall. She’s recently been featured in a wonderful article in Ink Magazine.

I have always loved Diana’s work, but wow, especially now. Check out the work I saw of hers recently, which you can see below in this post! Her color palette has always been yummy, and she’s really leaning into it more now. Her mark making, always in evidence, is much more brave and strategic in these newer works, moving your eye, emphasizing detail, providing nuance, and gaining energy and vibration. These paintings thrum with vibrance, beauty and vitality.

Consider purchasing her work; it is delightful, affordable (for now), and on the rise.  See more of her work on her website, and start following her on her instagram account here.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
