Hike Photos from Huntington State Park (November 2022)

November hikes in Huntington State Park this past month took us through the last of the autumn foliage and  into our first ice. Because one end of November is so different than the other, I’ve posted the photos here in consecutive order, so you can see the changes too.

Click here to see a short video I took of the lovely pink understory earlier in the month.

I had company walking with me more than usual this month, with a house guest from Portland (fellow blog reader of yours), and then both daughters in succession, one before Thanksgiving, one after.

I love the regular input of nature soothing my psyche, as well as the color, texture, and compositional studies the seasons provide. I’m so grateful to live near this lovely place and that I make use of it so often to ramble in.

I hope you are embracing your local beauty too.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
