I love the foliage and deep blue skies of October, and every year I’m grateful to live in this seasonal place. In this post, you can follow me along on my daily walk at Huntington State Park, where the colors have been ablaze. Hear the crunch and swish of fallen leaves underfoot, and the lapping of the water. Inhale deeply that fabulous scent of leaf decay heightened in the crisping air. Look up into the dappled, dramatic canopy. It all is quite exalting. I hope in these photos you can catch a glimpse of this unfolding magic.

Gorgeous Autumnal colours! One of my favourite seasons!
We had our daughter’s dog last week and I enjoyed several walks on the public golf course our house backs on to. The dog enjoyed rolling in the crunchy leaves and wallowing in muddy puddles! It was exhilarating for both of us!
