My Birthday 2021

My Birthday 2021

Thanks to everyone for your lovely birthday wishes yesterday. It was a cozy day, spent inside as we got a fresh layer of snow.

James made me my traditional, scrumptious birthday treat of a gougere, and sewed me another tissue box holder too, this one cheering up my desk in the office/studio.

He also has given me a rain check for dinner out once COVID allows… so I’m dreaming of grilled swordfish or fried oysters/wholebelly clams at local Whitlocks, or a maybe a fish/veggie special outside on the patio at The Note. We’ll see.

And my family showered me with books, as you can see… especially cookbooks for new cooking adventures. (Interesting that there was no art or spirituality in that pile?!)

These ongoing trips around the sun are such a privilege. Thank you for traveling with me!

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves. Glad you had a relaxing birthday. My favorite kind. The Gougere looks like popovers/yorkshire pudding/cream puffs with cheese! I will have to try that.

Wishing you a belated birthday greeting – enjoyed the lovely tissue creation – also the book review posted earlier. Interesting take on women and how to break out of the mortal mindset! Thanks for sharing.

How blessed we are to have someone like you on this Earth. Me and my nephew discovered you when he was researching for a “I matter because” contest at school and we came across your newspaper article on compassion and love. It really inspired us and he used it in his project for school.
I can’t figure out how to send a pic on this page but I wanted you to hear his poem 💜
I matter to myself, my family and my friends
I matter because we need each other till the very end
I matter because I have hope,I’m brave and I am strong
I matter and it’s important for us all to get along
I matter because I can dream imagine and create
I could make the world a better place with more love and less hate
    Happiest of Birthdays 🥳
