Dancing Seed Pods (pastel) by Polly Castor
I’ve been brewing and marinating on this idea since the fall when I did my painting titled “Bracken” (see here), and I finally took the time to do it. I love the result, with its overall complexity, intense color, and the strong swirling design of the pods.
