Spiritual Warfare (New Abstract Conceptualist Painting)

Spiritual Warfare (New Abstract Conceptualist Painting)
Spiritual Warfare painting by Polly Castor

Spiritual Warfare (pastel) by Polly Castor

Titled Spiritual Warfare, this new 22″x30″ pastel painting is about the suppositional warfare between Truth and error, evil and good, progress and backsliding, courage and fear. There is a conflict between the evidences of spiritual sense and those of material sense. Spiritual clear-sightedness wins over the blindness of popular belief.  Decisive resolve and resolute boundaries win over narcissism, myopia, and hubris.

Work on, while wielding the sword of Truth, confident divine Love is ever at hand, your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. God will give you the stamina and endurance for the fight. Survival and salvation are immanent.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves. yup…what it sometimes feels like…but we are (Truth is)
“fighting a defeated foe.” (See MBE on this topic.)

(You’ve got fire in those pastels, Polly!)
