A Bouquet of Mother’s Day Flowers (A New Poem with Lots of Photos)

Many Mother's Day Flowers

A Bouquet of Mother’s Day Flowers

Considering God as Mother,
the ultimate parent of all,
here are some
Mother’s Day flowers
made by her,
celebrating
and praising her,
thanking her
for our blessings.
Right now,
within steps of my home
there are these
thousands of petals
replete with glory,
so cheery and irrepressible
with vibrant brightness,
providing an essential,
natural gift, effusive
and prolific,
as they copiously
present themselves,
exhibiting overflowing love,
spattered and flung around.
These innumerable
bundles of beauty
hint at the countless more
that accrue, in other
places and times.
The infinite is expressed
in blossoming propagation,
spectacularly lovely, growing,
and effortlessly unfolding–
so appropriate and analogous
for the boundless, caring,
Mother of all creation,
which gratefully
each of us,
male and female,
reflect completely.
Like Mother, like children,
so we too spew flowers
across everyone’s way,
planting pulchritude,
and cultivating
radiant joy.

    Oh! That all human-ity
    Might see
    Through any illusions of “haven’t,”
    To HAVE!
    We HAVE it all!
    Before our very feet!
    Hieroglyphic love-notes!
    Florabundant Fragrance!
    Pure JOY from Above!

Thanks for the Happy Reminder of this, Polly.
I know you will enJoy this Day…
    Dear, bountifully beautiful YOU!!
