Day 18: Our Daughter Climbs Gros Morne Mountain

Gros Morne Mountain

Our daughter did this strenuous 11 mile, mostly vertical hike, and generously shared her photos with us. She said it was grueling but really cool. The views were amazing! It took 8 hours and was 1,800 ft elevation gain one way, which translates as 30,000 steps and 150 flights of stairs. She has climbed two 14,000ft mountains in Colorado and said this was harder. She was both exhilarated and exhausted with she returned.
