I thought I’d introduce you to Tony Alain’s work, since I’ll be taking his workshop at the International Pastel Convention this June. He is one of several instructors I have signed up for there in Albuquerque, so before attending, I’ll feature some of the other artists as well that I’ll be working with. I’m excited to be attending! Early in June you’ll be hearing a whole lot about every detail of this huge privilege.
Tony Alain is from Britain, and I like his stylized abstracted reality; check out his work in this post and here on his website. He’s long been hailed as an excellent instructor too, so it will be interesting to see what I think!
