Independently Intertwined (monoprint collage) by Polly Castor

I have a one woman small works show opening tomorrow at Byrd’s Books in Bethel, CT from 5:30 – 8:00. Please come if you can!

There are 25 bright abstract paintings in the show, three from last year (see here) and the 22 new ones shown in this post. The idea was to offer affordable paintings in the bookstore, so I kept the cost down by not using oil or pastel, and I kept the size small.

The 5″x7″ paintings/collage originals will go for $75 each, the 8″x8″‘s are $100, and the 8×10’s are $150. They are priced to move!

The show will be up until Valentine’s Day, so I hope you get to see it!

Saturday I’ll show you what this all looks like hanging in the show, so if you are not local, you can get a glimpse of it in a blog post about the opening…

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
