Books We Got for Christmas

Books We Got for Christmas

Here are the books that were under our family’s tree this Christmas.

What books did you receive that you are excited about?

Our daughters have each already enthusiastically finished one of the books here–The Name of the Wind (700 pages!), and Magnus Chase, respectively– and they are out buying their sequels with gift cards as I type this. I guess they liked them!

Our son just moved to Washington D.C., and our youngest is about to take an art history survey course next term which explains those two gifts…

I’m going to read the Collage one first.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
