The High Sierra Trail is a wonderful trail. I don’t know why more people don’t do it here in Sequoia National Park, because it is outstanding. But we had it to ourselves. This view is another of my favorites from this trip. And what was our daughter photographing at the top? Ants. However, the glory of the view and the exceptionally mossy trees were lost on neither of us. Don’t miss this trail if you get to this part of the world.

Hi,
I want to forward this hike to my son and family, who live by Lake Tahoe, but the email isn’t working for me. What a glorious trip….to share with all of us. Thank you!

Macro and Micro…..both wonderful! Your first photograph just doesn’t look real! The clouds look like part of the mountains as in another photo further down. This is an epic journey. Your family certainly thinks BIG!

I thought the same as Deborah about the first photo…..looks like a painting! Love, love, love that you are sharing this amazing trip. Everyday I wish I was there….Laura will cherish these days forever, as will you. Miss you….Louise
