Fern Canyon

We enjoyed walking up Fern Canyon in Redwoods National Park where the Jurassic movie was filmed. It was not a stretch to imagine dinosaurs thundering through this landscape. The fern species here are 225 million years old…

Your recent posts make me feel so nostalgic! My husband and I lived in Arcata, California, and I worked at College of the Redwoods, for 12 years. I’m happy you and your daughters are enjoying the beauty of the North Coast. I miss the redwoods and the beaches–the usually empty beaches.
