Three Dotted Gouaches in my Artist’s Journal

I’ve done these three gouaches in my artist journal lately to study the effect of dots– their placement and color– including the influence of both their presence and absence. I enjoy this contemplative process, so I’m warming up to some full blown paintings with dots, to which this medium lends itself handsomely…
