This is what I shared at our town’s ecumenical Thanksgiving service last Tuesday night. Everyone always has these things they can be grateful for! Happy Thanksgiving!
I am grateful that through God every foe has been conquered.
I am grateful that my every action is in Him.
I am grateful for the peace which passeth all understanding.
I am grateful that I am getting to know God better every day.
I am grateful that I have the courage to acknowledge Him in all my ways.
I am grateful that my well-being is a gift from God.
I am grateful that Love never faileth, for God is Love.
I am grateful for that light of Truth which cannot be hid.
I am grateful that I am clothed with the armor of God.
I am grateful for the constant companionship of indwelling Life.
I am grateful to be dependent upon spiritual vision and spiritual sense.
I am grateful that every good quality I possess is given to me directly by my Father/Mother God.
I am grateful that my home is a house not built with hands, but is eternal in the heavens.
I am grateful that my liberty comes by showing myself approved unto God.
I am grateful that harmony comes by right thinking.
I am grateful that progress is one of God’s laws.
I am grateful that my time is the ever present now.
I am grateful that I may commune with God all day long.
I am grateful that my substance is that which cannot be spent in riotous living.
I am grateful to know that my strength is in proportion to my understanding of God.
I am grateful to know that defeat can never overtake me if I lean on God.
I am grateful to know that the government is upon His shoulders.
I am grateful that I have no other ancestry than God, and neither do my children.
I am grateful that the way is straight and narrow and leads up to God.
I am grateful that divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need.
I am grateful that my wealth consisteth not in things which I possess.
I am grateful that my treasures are in heaven.
I am grateful that my faith is based on the Truth.
I am grateful that my only guide is the still, small voice within me.
I am grateful that the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God.
I am grateful that my age is without beginning and without end of days.
I am grateful that the foundation upon which I am building is purity.
I am grateful that I am awake to the voice of Good.
I am grateful that I have sovereign power to think and act rightly.
I am grateful that I have my being in the atmosphere of divine Love.
