Recipe: Cranberry Pear Frangipani Pie

Recipe: Cranberry Pear Frangipani Pie

shapeimage_7-1

This is the pie we made to finish off our Thanksgiving dinner. My pottery teacher saw it in the newspaper and gave me a copy. We both made it and thought it delicious.

It was nice to have something so different that was so good. It is easy to make, and would be a good choice for Christmas too, or anytime. We’ll probably make it again next for a church potluck. Give it a try and enjoy!

(Note: You can’t quite see the cooking time on the clipping below… ours took to 50 minutes before “set and golden.” Also, my husband made our pie crust from scratch. Sorry to have dripped on the recipe!)
