Paintings at the Metropolitan Museum of Art

A couple weeks ago, as mentioned here, I spent an enjoyable day at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I went to the Seurat exhibit, which also highlighted his pointillistic buddies. I liked Paul Signac best, which are the ones with close ups below. I have featured him on the blog before, here

I also looked at the contemporary art section, not seeing much I liked, but photographed the best of them below. And who doesn’t love a Tiffany stained glass window?

The MET is so huge, you have to take it in pieces. Last December, I did this, and this there. It is wonderful this world class resource is so close to me.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
