New Pastel: Sunset over Eagle Lake

I painted this for my older sister’s birthday which was yesterday. It is of a sunset over Eagle Lake in Acadia National Park, and was done in pastel. Last summer she visited Acadia for the first time, so between that fact and her love for the color blue, it seemed appropriate. We put it in a white mat and framed it in metallic blue of the same tone…
