Dahveed book review

For those blog readers that remember us loving the book Joseph by Terri L. Fivash, this series about the biblical David is wonderful as well. This author does a terrific job bringing Bible characters to life through the vehicle of accurate historical fiction. Whereas Joseph was a single volume, the story of David is explored in depth over five books. You can see the first two above, the other three are best obtained on an e-reader, as they can be difficult to find otherwise. If you are interested in detailed, fictional accounts of old testament characters, this author is one you should not miss. The names of the characters here take some getting used to, but once over that hurdle, the story is told in a very accessible, faithful, and enjoyable way. We give it five stars.
