There is a lot of talent and creativity at camp. There were incredible people there with diverse gifts to develop and share. There were pastelists, poets, dancers, theater people, musicians, writers, singers, pine needle basketmaking people, photographers, potters, a quilter, and a mime.
You can see some of the overflow in the photos in this post. I’ll call out a few people of special interest to you here:
- Lisa Redfern is a wonderful singer-songwriter, who was the other all day Artist in Residence with me this session. I love her work and have been listening to it on repeat on Spotify since I got home. You can also get her CD’s here.
- for voice instruction (reading, singing or theater): Jenny Foster
- for fabulous pottery look no farther than Angi and Scott Read, who drove pottery wheels up to Maine from Florida to teach these students. Check out their website and store here, and follow them on Instagram here.
- get Emily Kendrick’s book Nature’s Beauty of haiku accompanied by photographs.
- follow our quilter on Instagram here
- want to hire a great band? We loved the Playin’ Possums! See their Facebook page here.
How wonderful to get to be with all these and more!
