I hike here as often as I can.
Everything is very green right now, and the most fun find I had was spotting the wild lady slipper orchid shown above. I took many photos of it in earlier stages, but that photo is of it in its full glory.
See my photos in this post of my local rambles that make me whole and able to do everything else. I’m always looking with a eye to composition too!
I hope you have a place you can regularly get outside in nature as well…

Lady slipper orchids. We do have trillium in our backyard though. Very different- three white petals.

There is so much beauty for inspiration around us. You do a great job
taking pictures. The colors are so vibrant and I like that you notice
shadows.
By the way I just finished re-reading Tessa Afshar’s HARVEST OF GOLD.
It went so well with last week’s Bible Lesson. she really brings Nehemiah
to life. I was introduced to her books (and to your blog) after my friend
read HARVEST OF RUBIES that you had discussed.
